Thomas Duryea Logicalis has been recognised as an ABA100 Winner in The Australian Business Awards 2018 for Project Management (PMA)

Melbourne, 21 August 2018 - Thomas Duryea Logicalis has been recognised as an ABA100 Winner in The Australian Business Awards 2018 for Project Management (PMA). Now in their thirteenth year, The Australian Business Awards program provides notable opportunities for high-performing organisations which implement world-class business initiatives and develop innovative products and services to be acknowledged and honoured for their achievements both nationally and internationally. The national winners are benchmarked in the international chapter of the program at The World Business Awards whereby participants are provided with the unique opportunity to benchmark themselves against the top performers globally.

In May 2017, Regis Aged Care (Regis) announced it was extending its provision into Tasmania through the merger and acquisition of Presbyterian Care Tasmania (PCT). The acquisition created a requirement for the merger and migration of PCT IT systems into the existing Regis technology stack. Thomas Duryea Logicalis was engaged to facilitate and project manage the system integration which occurred over 2 phases. The first phase, completed August 1 2017, required the federation of key infrastructure between PCT and Regis bringing together 3 facilities, supporting approximately 370 staff and 287 beds/rooms. Phase 2 commenced September 2017 and covered the full integration and decommissioning of the PCT environment. The project was determined complete, April 2018.

From the very beginning of the engagement, TDL has taken us on a successful journey by providing quality deliverables through high calibre professionals and diverse cross-functional teams. Working with a variety of internal teams and supplier partners, they successfully delivered multiple interrelated work packages across different technology platforms working collaboratively with our key internal customers to deliver a cost effective, successful integration.”

Each year the ABA100 Winners are recognised for their commitment to business and product innovation and for their achievements in transforming business practices and end user experiences.

The World Business Awards Framework (WBA Framework) is utilised as a structured model of assessment that enables the participating organisations to be benchmarked against world class performance standards.

The Framework consists of specialised assessment modules pertaining to the evaluation criteria for each of the award categories. The criteria and sub-criteria provide a robust set of requirements that are used as the methodology for benchmarking and learning among the participating organisations.

Organisations that demonstrate the core values of business innovation, product innovation, technological achievement and employee engagement are recognised via a set of established business and product award categories.

The process culminates in the selection of organisations which implement world-class business initiatives, projects, products and services.
